The Ghana plant is the biggest manufacturing facilities of Red Sea Housing Services and was established in 2004 in the Tema free zone. Strategically established in close proximity of the port, this industrial location gives Red Sea Housing Services a strong advantage in term of   fast and effective logistics.

Currently, the facility serves the demands of the African continent and South America market. 

With 800 personnel working at the Tema manufacturing facility, the factory has an annual production capacity of 285,600 sqm, on an area comprising of 70,000 sqm. The factory’s site operations & maintenance are supported by an additional 300 personnel. Though mostly specializing in the construction of Composite PVC panel specifications, the facility is equipped with the functionalities required for producing Red Sea Housing’s other specifications for brands like Sandwich panels, Steel containers and Roughneck. We have our own Expandable Polystyrene, Composite Panel, Steel Rolling, Roof Forming, Sandwich Panel, Steel Coil Slitting manufacturing facilities.

Having in-house architectural and design capabilities using modern computer-based designing systems, enables the facility to cater to the housing needs of a diverse customer base with a host of innovative products and solutions. The manufacturing machinery and equipment installed in this facility include FrameCAD machine, welding machines, fiberglass unit, overhead hoists, compressors, fork lifts, sheet metal cutting and bending machines, and assorted carpentry, electrical and plumbing tools. This facility has in-house maintenance and repair capabilities to handle technical defects and ensure seamless operations.

Additionally, the factory has an inventory capacity of 180,000 sqm to stack manufactured units prior to its shipment and also to store units retrieved post lease period.
